Intrusion Grouting
Often the reason for the poor performance of the pavement is the lack of support of the soils underneath the pavement. In this case replacement of the pavement is only a temporary band aid. The permanent solution lies in stabilizing the poor soil.
The best solution in this case is to pressure grout the loose soil either with intrusion grouting or compaction grouting. For a proper treatment of the soil a soil boring must be done by a qualified geotechnical engineer so that the depths of grout injection and pressures can be determined prior to grouting.
